Huawei has just released the Ascend P6 smartphone to public on a press event in London. As we mentioned before specs and looks are unchanged from the leaked device. Ascend P6 sports a 1.5Ghz Huawei’s own K3V2 processor with 2GB of RAM and 720P HD LCD display with in-cell touch technology which phones like Iphone 5 uses. As rumored Ascend P6 is indeed the world’s slimmest smartphone at just 6.18mm thick and weighs just 120g.
Thankfully Ascend P6 comes with a beefy 2000mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 which is the latest Android version as of now. P6 runs Huawei’s Emotion UI interface and you can operate the touchscreen with gloves thanks to “MagicTouch” technology which takes the advantage of in-cell touch screen. Front facing camera is 5MP whereas main camera is 8MP BSI F2.0 and both can record 1080P videos.
P6 has dual sim support as also its dual standby meaning that both networks are active at once enabling you to receive calls and text messages on both networks. P6 has the regular other connectivity features like FM radio,HSPA,Bluetooth.
P6 is the flagship of Huawei’s Ascend P smartphone lineup and its the rival for Xiaomi Mi2S smartphone from Xiaomi. We should mention that P6 shares the looks of Iphone 5. P6 has a metallic body with a premium appeal.
