For those who doesn’t know about EISA, EISA stands for  “European Imaging and Sound Association” and it started in the year 1982 by bunch of editors from premier photo magazines on Europe to select the best Camera of the year. Since then EISA has evolved a lot and gained fame around Europe for not only selecting the best camera but various types of consumer electronics such as mobile phones, audio, video devices and more. Winning an EISA award means a lot for an company who does business in Europe. You might remember the buzz after EISA named Galaxy S3 as the best mobile phone in their previous awarding ceremony 2012-2013

Now on this year EISA has selected Huawei Ascend P6 as the best “European Consumer Smartphone” beating the Galaxy S4 and HTC One

When analyzing HuaweiNews server logs it seems obvious that Ascend P6 is surely popular in Europe than most other countries. Here’s what EISA has published about Ascend P6

Slim and beautiful, the Ascend P6 is one of the thinnest smartphones in the world with a depth of just 6.18mm while it weighs in at only 120 grams. The front is almost all glass and the display is 4.7” with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and can be used even when wearing gloves. The Ascend P6 runs Android 4.2 on Huawei’s own 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. The 8-megapixel rear-facing camera has an autofocus function and records videos with Full HD resolution, while the 5-megapixel front camera, is well suited for self-portraits. As a welcome add-on to Android the Ascend P6 uses Huawei’s user interface called ‘Emotion UI’ which among other things offers panoramic shoot and facial-recognition photography functions. In total the Ascend P6 is a surprisingly well-equipped smartphone at a very attractive price.
