Wait no more, Huawei has just released a stable Jelly Bean for the Ascend P1. This new update is numbered as B336 and said to include many optimizations and changes. We know most of you are running Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich and this is the right time to upgrade your Ascend P1.

This B336 update is based on Android 4.1.1 ,Kernel version 3.0.31 and some of key features of this update are,

* Performance Optimizations
* Longer Battery Life
* FM Radio

If you are already on B315 firmware, you can flash this new B336 firmware directly by downloading it from the link below

But if you are on any other firmware version, you need to flash a separate update called “Intermediate Pack” first and then you can flash the B335 update on your Ascend P1.

After extracting the downloaded file, you will find a Microsoft Word document, explaining how to update if you don’t already know about it and there will be 2 folders containing the update and the “IntermediatePack” update. As previously advised, flash the “IntermediatePack” first if you aren’t already on the B315 firmware.
