You need to put your G300 in to the Fast Boot mode

Turn off your phone and turn on by pressing [Volume Down + Power] at the same time. Hold this until the G300 displays the Huawei logo. Now connect your phone to the computer.

Run the Root tool

Open the install-superrecovery-windows.bat file from the directory which you extracted the files before. And wait few minutes until it does its job. And when it prompts you, you need to put your G300 to the recovery mode. Turn off your phone by removing the battery and USB cable. Then put the battery and turn on your G300 by holding [Volume UP + Power] at the same time. When recovery loads your G300 is Rooted! Now you can reboot by using the power button and when your G300 boots up normally, Use a Root checker tool from Google play to verify the Root.
