Well look what we have here! Screenshots of Ascend P6S-U06 international version, Android settings page and Antutu hardware info page just got leaked on Weibo. This confirms the specs we reported earlier on HuaweiNews. We are one of the first to report that the upcoming Ascend P6S won’t be octa-core just like every other major web sites out there reported to be.
This leak confirms what we reported. Here are the known specifications of upcoming Ascend P6S,
* Processor – 1.6Ghz Quad Core HiSilicon Kirin 910
* GPU – ARM Mali-450
* RAM – 2GB
* Screen – 720P IPS LCD
* Android version – 4.2.2 (Might come with 4.3 or 4.4 at release)
* Emotion UI version – 2.0
* Internal Memory – 16GB
* Primary Camera – 8MP
Even though this leaked screenshot displays the Android version is 4.2.2 this might be an early release version for the developers. There is a chance that we might see Ascend P6S running Android 4.3 or doubtfully 4.4 at release with EmotionUI 2.0.
Ascend P6S is simple upgrade to current Ascend P6. Apart from slightly powerful processor and improved GPU, there is not much of a difference. Huawei should have at least added a 1080P screen to compete in the market as Chinese manufacturers such as Vivo is setting up to release 2K resolution smartphones. Huawei will surely have tough time marketing this one for sure.
