Its been about a month since the last firmware update for the Chinese aversion of Ascend P1. We know a lot of you outside China uses this Chinese firmwares because Huawei is so late updating  the international firmwares for Ascend P1. Even these Chinese firmwares are marked as development versions and mostly includes bug fixes and performance improvements over the current firmwares.

Today Huawei released B709 firmware update for the Ascend P1 with so many bug fixes and improvements over current latest B708. As the previous versions this update includes a small incremental update which you can use to get B709 running quickly if you are on B708. Or you can use the full update file to upgrade to B709 from any firmware version. Here are some of the important big fixes and new features taken from B709 changelog.

* Gmail attachment issues fixed
* Bluetooth received files issues fixed
* Home screen unlock issues fixed
* .3GP video format is now supported
