Just about 2 months after the release of B929 Android 4.2.2 firmware for the Ascend Mate, Huawei now has an another firmware update ready for you Ascend Mate owners. Don’t get your hopes up because this new firmware B930 is still based on Android 4.2.2 just like all other previous firmwares. Even though Ascend Mate is equipped with same hardware as Ascend P6, Huawei doesn’t seem to care about upgrading Mate to Android 4.4 like they did for the P6.
This firmware was made available on Huawei’s Chinese support site, instead of adding it on Emotion UI web site as usual. And of course its for the Ascend Mate China Unicom version, but you can install it on your international Ascend Mate as you might already know by now. Published changelog is short but we guess there might be more changes than the ones mentioned. Below is the translated changelog published on download page,
