For the past few months, Huawei has been busy releasing new development firmwares for Honor 3C about every 15 days. At the beginning of this month, we have reported about the release of development firmware version 4.10.1 for Honor 3C H30-U10 in Chinese region. Unfortunately development firmwares are only being released in the Chinese region and international customers get the stable firmwares lot later than the Chinese. If you have guts and time to tinker with your device, you can easily get these firmwares installed on your international Huawei Honor 3C-U10 with just a few hiccups like having to side-load Google apps.

If you are already running previous development firmware 4.10.1 on your Honor 3C H30-U10, today Huawei released an all new development firmware numbered as 4.10.16. This new firmware version doesn’t carry a considerable amount of changes and the major change seems to be improved call recording features compared to previous firmwares. If you are running any development firmwares on your Honor 3C-U10 we definitely recommend you to upgrade to this version as this is the most recent update available.

Huawei only supports upgrading to this new 4.10.16 firmware if you are already running stable firmware version ranging from B137 to B148 and development firmwares from version 4.7.1 and upwards on your Honor 3C H30-U10.  Upgrading from other firmwares will cause problems like loosing your IMEI. Be careful when you upgrade and doesn’t take any responsibility over damaged phones.
