Honor 3C became the Huawei’s most famous mid range smartphone, taking the crown from Ascend Y300 last year. Honor 3C is more than a year old device by now as it was released on December 2013. Huawei has kept silent about a direct successor for Honor 3C until now. Yesterday Chinese certification agency “TENAA” has published details about a Huawei smartphone, which reputable sources on internet suggests as upcoming Honor 4C.
According to the details published by TENAA, Honor 4C will be getting a 5inch 720P display, 2GB RAM, 8GB storage and 2550mAh battery. It’s worth noting that this device will come with Android 4.4 but that might change when Huawei releases it to the public. 8 core ARM Cortex-A53, HiSilicon Kirin 620 will be powering the Honor 4C and the GPU inside will be Mali-450MP4. Kirin 620 has built in Cat.4 LTE support so we guess that Honor 4C will come with LTE connectivity. Huawei has equipped Honor 4C with 13MP primary camera and 5MP front camera for all those selfie maniacs out there.
Even though this device looks thicker on the pictures above, the published dimensions shows that its only 8.9mm thick which is not absurd for a mid range smartphone. Honor 4C weighs about 162g. We don’t know the pricing or availability just yet but as this is certified already at TENAA, the release date won’t be very far.
